Daimler Dingo Scout Car

Daimler Dingo Scout Car

Two items became part of our collections in 1945 and 1951: the one joining in the column, but also an example exhibited at the Royal Military Museum in Brussels!

Daimler Dingo Scout Car

This British armoured vehicle, suitable for reconnaissance missions and appreciated for its qualities (fast, discreet, well-protected, easy to handle, etc.), was deployed at the front in the spring of 1940 and remained in service for almost 20 years! Several copies were assigned to the Piron Brigade and took part in all its campaigns, especially in Normandy.
